Description

The Golden Laurel pattern was originally created for use at Buda Castle (also known as the Royal Palace) during the reign of Francis Joseph I, Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary. Initially created in the 1870s, it consisted of a golden laurel wreath branch and bore the monogram of Francis Joseph as well as the Hungarian Crown.

Tea Cup: Holds 8 Ounces.
Tea Saucer: 6″ in diameter.

Material — Fine China, made in Herend, Hungary.

Care — Hand-washing gently with a non-citrus cleanser is most highly recommended. If a dishwasher is used, avoid overloading to eliminate the potential for chipping
Avoid lemon-based dishwashing liquids and abrasive powders. Lower temperature settings are best. Cool at the end of the drying cycle before removing items.
